Today plastic has become a significant source of landfill waste. Often consumed by numerous marine and land animals,to fatal consequences.
More than 70% of the plastic production is now is waste streams, sent largely to landfill - however too much of it litters our cities and oceans. Sadly ,most of the commonly used plastics are non-biodegradable .
Plastic pollution may not even be visible to naked eye as research is showing that microscopic plastic particles are present in the air at various locations throughout the world and in oceans .
We have replaced all our conventional polybags with oxo-biodegradable polybags which will degrade over time with microorganisms present in a landfill,and are 100% recyclable.
